Appraisals are the only method of determining the market worth of your gems, jewelry, and watches. For this reason, it is extremely important to make sure you are 100% insured to protect your jewelry against loss, theft, or damage both nationally and worldwide. We conduct both purchase and insurance valuations for all purposes, including insurance replacement, estate tax, financial investment, settlements, and for buying/selling.
We offer two appraisal service time frames
Express
You can watch the process while you wait and your appraisal document will be produced on the spot for an express service fee.
Standard
You drop your piece off to be appraised and we call you when the appraisal is ready.
Our GIA Graduate Gemologists
Are trained to grade diamonds, colored stones, watches, and estate jewelry. It’s extremely important to select an experienced appraiser when filing an insurance claim. Accurate appraisals ensure you are not overpaying on your insurance claim.
All store purchases are accompanied with a complimentary jewelry appraisal that is signed and stamped by one of our GIA graduate gemologists for authenticity. All reports are extremely detailed and include pictures and/or diagrams. We will also update any appraisals done by Princess Diamonds at no cost.
Customers will receive two copies of each report, the first copy goes to the insurance company and the second copy is for their records. If more copies are needed, we can make more with no additional cost.
